muscimole is produced during drying process, muscazone results of the UV irradiation of ibotenic acid
Primary effects are dizziness, twitching, possible nausea after 30min, numbness of feet, twilight sleep for some hours, visual and auditory hallucinations. Ibotenic acid causes flushing of the skin, lethargy, drowsiness
preparation/
use:
heat the sliced mushroom at about 170°F until dried. The muscarine, a highly toxic hallucinogen, will evaporate and the ibotenic acid will alter to muscimole
history:
additional information: atropine is an antidot for muscarine, NOT for ibotenic acid, which is the main compound and has identically effects as atropine.
